Dr. med. Matthias Huebner
Dr. med. M. Huebner is Head of the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at the Department of Pediatric Cardiology of the University Hospital Erlangen. He began his medical training as a paramedic and completed his medical studies at the Technical University in Munich and Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is a board certified specialist in pediatrics, emergency medicine and intensive care medicine. He has worked in neonatology as well as at the pediatric intensive care unit at the Dr. von Haunersches Kinderspital and at the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Intensive Care of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany. For many years he has been accompanying air ambulance flights and intensive care transports of criticaly ill children in the air and on the ground.
For many years Jakob Sandler has been working in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Intensive Care at the hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. This department specializes in pediatric intensive care, in pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiac surgery and pediatric neurosurgery. The approval to become a pediatric intensive care specialist was acquired by Mr. Sandler at the general pediatric intensive care unit, in neonatology and in anesthesia.
